If you lived on planet Earth for the last month, you of course know that movie history has changed for the better, as Avatar has basically rocked our little blue speck of dust in the universe.  We saw it, we were sweaty with total enjoyment.

We have yet to see celebrity baby spawning Jude Law’s movie however.  But what does that say in itself?  Don’t get us wrong, Sherlock Holmes does look like a fun, sweat inducing time, but we can’t imagine it blowing us away like Avatar did.  Guy Ritchie, we loved you as Madonna’s arm candy, and we think your movie’s are entertaining, but don’t mess with the James Cameron.

At the Toronto Film Festival Jude showed up in a cashmere gray sweater. Only problem was it was not water resistant, resulting in, yes, you guessed it, sweaty armpits.  Law has announced that he will be playing the lovable character of Dr. John Watson in his newest film Sherlock Holmes in 2009. Accompanying him in this new film is the all-time favorite Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock Holmes.

Sherlock Holmes is scheduled to release in theaters on Christmas Day of this year, 2009. With Guy Ritchie as the director, one can only hope it will be as exciting as the famous Snatch, his well received movie in 2000.

Nothing is more exciting then two sexy, hopefully sweaty, actors trying to solve a mystery with English accents! But in the end Sherlock, Robert Downey, better help Dr. Watson, Jude Law, find some more effective deodorant because the biggest mystery still remains…how is this hot English actor sweating on the red carpet. Bottom line is we love Jude Law and his ridiculously handsome face and player charm, we just wish he would get his act together and buy some better deodorant so that we could all get a little Closer to him.
