Another ghost of romantic comedies past, excessive sweating faced Meg Ryan totally looks Jokerfied in the pic below. Perhaps when you see a good movie you see elements of that movie everywhere in real life, but really…Why so serious sweaty Meg Ryan?
Bad makeup day Meg Ryan got her first industry gig at the age of 18, through her momma’s friends, Ryan landed her first TV commercial, doing chin-ups and giggling to promote “Tickle” deodorant. Tickle deodorant, now that’s a product you can obviously get behind (or sit on top of?).
“Make yourself happy with a little tickle” or “Staying drier is nicer with a little Tickle” isn’t exactly subtle advertisements to women. Tickle with their phallic dildo-esque deodorant, it’s really, really easy to go there, it’s no sweat even…Did Tickle fly off the shelves with its bulbous, colorfully phallic bottle and these tongue in cheek ads in the seventies? Who knows, their not around anymore…
The “antiperspirant with the big wide ball” was suppose to keep women in a good mood all day. How better to start your romantic comedy career than with sexually charged sweaty antiperspirant ads…Later of course, Meg Ryan won a Golden Globe for her portrayal of a sweat-inducing faked orgasm in a Manhattan delicatessen that made Billy Crystal sweat in his seat. Meg Ryan, thank you for making all men insecure and sweaty everywhere.
Meg Ryan go a little easy on the makeup and sweating? Would you please? Your skin looks like some sort of conglomeration of Third World industrial waste and excessive sweating.
